RODE TF5MP

The RODE TF5MP is a premium matched pair of small-diaphragm condenser microphones developed in collaboration with renowned classical recording engineer Tony Faulkner. Designed for exceptional transparency, precise stereo imaging and natural tonal reproduction, the pair is particularly suited to orchestral recordings, piano, acoustic guitar, percussion and drums.

Each microphone features a precision cardioid capsule and JFET active electronics, delivering a wide, balanced frequency response with low self-noise and excellent detail. The microphones can handle sound pressure levels up to 120 dB SPL while maintaining clarity across complex and dynamic sources.

The matched configuration makes the TF5MP ideal for professional stereo recording techniques, including ORTF and X/Y. The supplied SB20 stereo bar provides angle and measurement markings for accurate positioning, while the compact microphone bodies allow discreet placement in demanding studio and live recording environments.
