At the heart of the Attessa is Roksan’s Unipivot tonearm, developed through computer modelling by the company’s electro-acoustic engineering team. Its lightweight composite construction combines aluminium and glass fibre with a jewel pivot, reducing effective mass while maintaining precise and stable tracking. The simplified single-pivot architecture is also designed to make initial setup more straightforward.

The tonearm allows adjustment of tracking force, anti-skating, VTA and azimuth, providing the flexibility required for precise cartridge alignment. The turntable is supplied with the Roksan Dana Moving Magnet cartridge, selected as a factory-matched partner for the Attessa tonearm.

A substantial glass platter provides rotational mass and stability, while a bonded aluminium edge damper helps control unwanted resonance. The platter works with an isolated HDF plinth and decoupled feet inspired by engineering principles used in Roksan’s renowned Xerxes turntables, reducing the influence of external vibration on playback.

The belt-drive system is controlled by an advanced microprocessor-based electronic speed system. Motor operation is digitally regulated and individually calibrated at the factory to deliver highly accurate platter rotation. Electronic speed selection makes switching between record formats simple without requiring manual adjustment of the drive belt.

The Attessa also incorporates a proprietary switchable Moving Magnet phono preamplifier developed by Roksan. In active mode, the turntable can connect directly to a standard line-level input; in passive mode, the internal phono stage is bypassed for use with a dedicated external phono preamplifier.

RCA analogue outputs allow straightforward integration into a wide range of Hi-Fi systems. There are no unnecessary digital playback features: the electronic technology is used primarily to improve mechanical precision and simplify operation while preserving an analogue signal path.

Finished in elegant Satin White, the Attessa combines understated industrial design with sophisticated engineering. Its precision speed control, Unipivot tonearm, integrated phono stage and vibration-isolated construction make it a refined centrepiece for a modern vinyl system.
