Sontronics ZETA

The Sontronics ZETA is a premium large-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for professional vocal, voice and acoustic instrument recording. Hand-built in England, it combines a highly sensitive JFET circuit with a boutique Lundahl transformer to deliver a warm, dimensional sound with exceptional clarity and detail.

Its 33 mV/Pa sensitivity captures subtle dynamics, transients and tonal textures, while the Lundahl transformer adds smoothness to the high frequencies and richness through the midrange. With an exceptionally low self-noise level of approximately 9 dB-A, ZETA is equally suitable for professional studios and high-quality home recording environments.

The cardioid polar pattern provides focused pickup and effective rejection of unwanted ambient sound. With a maximum SPL of 125 dB, the microphone performs confidently across vocals, voice-over, acoustic guitar, piano, strings and other detailed sound sources.
